My CD player currently holds three of my Crowded House CDs:
- Crowded House (1986) – with great songs like Don’t Dream It’s Over and Hole In The River
- Temple Of Low Men (1988) – with the classic Into Temptation
- Together Alone (1993) – with Pineapple Head and In my Command
The first two were produced by Mitchell Froom, who also has producer credits for artists like Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt, and the third one by Youth, from the band Killing Joke.

Crowded House Don’t Dream It’s OverĀ – Live (1996 farewell to the world tour)(luckily they came together again in 2006)
Crowded House is the band of Neil Finn, brother of Tim Finn – from New Zealand. Together they were also heading the band Split Enz, known for its songs History Never Repeats and Message To My Girl.

Yes – these were the ’80’s – time of Duran Duran and Tears For Fears.
After this I will probably listen to Recurring Dream The Very Best Of Crowded House – Limited Edition (1986). It includes a second CD with live tracks. Like many limited edition CDs this one is no longer available from the record company, but you can find them online of course.
